The kids aren't the only ones wanting a tree house. Consider building in the woods, literally, instead of buying a traditional Santa Barbara home . Tree houses, with running water, electricity, and plumbing, are popular in certain communities. A unique, private lifestyle is made possible in homes built among the branches of pine, spruce, and birtch tress.

Several homes come equipped with swings, bridges, slides, or even a zip line, to really bring out the inner child. Many people have been waiting thier entire lives for the opportunity to live in a tree, however, this lifestyle is not be for everyone.
